    I still find it hard to believe the wood *doesn’t* make any difference. I bet it’s the like those studies that have proven that food dye doesn’t make any difference in the taste of candy buttons, even though it totally does.

    Coldgarden is a wonderful idea– while you’re building artificial environs, why not plug in the extremes, just to make people appreciate their 24/7 benign boring weather? I wonder if there’s a Savannah Park, too. But does the luthier live there?

    Unless they have a magical thermodynamic system, the heat from Coldgarden is being dumped *somewhere*, so there may well be a correspondingly hot locale.
