The whole One World Order that some fear will come and some conspire to be is pretty much that quest. Monotheism is a religious attempt at that. The Lord of the Rings tells that story, of "The Return of the King". I've heard that it's some of Nostradamus' son's drawings have been interpreted to mean that the "Antichrist" will come in 2012.
